    I would love to know anything about this little one... Photos of both front + back, etc...

    It is 3.5x2x.75”...
    So smaller than a deck of cards...
    Very light weight...
    The decoration is on all of the out-sides...

    It is lovely, JBo. It could be varnished ('lacquered') papier-mâché.

    A little digging, and following all of your excellent ideas — I believe it is a Victorian snuff box, possibly French!
