Featured Another McCoy planter.

    Happy Sunday everyone.
    I picked this up at my local thrift today and was wondering if it had a particular name and color.
    I have seen them just called oblong with scrolled handles is all.
    And fifties? I know someone has books with descriptions and ages and was hoping to pick some brains. Also olive green matt finish?

    In Warman's "McCoy Pottery" pg 207 it is shown in an McCoy Tonecraft advertisement. Available in 4 different colors, yours is apparently Nile Green. It was produced in 1964.

    Edit: Not sure if this is Tonecraft or not. Don't think it is. It is pictured in the advertisement but I'm not sure if it is one of the shapes.

    Sanford's has it as #310 Aladdin Planter, from the Garden Club Line of 1958.
