Featured Another who dunnit

Hi,
Wondering if anyone recognizes this whopper. It’s almost 4” long! I can’t find anything on image search and none of the construction rings a bell as anyone in particular. The cabs glow under UV light. It’s really pretty in person.
Any help is very much appreciated

This would be very awkward for a right handed person to put on alone. The way the pin assembly is mounted, the pin stem has to be inserted from the left, and that is surely the right way up for the piece.

that pin looks like someone ran out of the proper size..........

 

It's also positioned asymmetrically. Look at where the 2 ends of the pin are attached.

 

Any guesses on a possible maker?

The designer it reminds me most of is Julianna. With it's easter-egg like cabochon and general design and size. I never bothered to learn the finer detective work clues for D&E, like prong styles, so there may be something things that rule D&E out, and this is another designer with a similar look. As mentioned above, something is up with this clasp. It has been oriented off center and facing the wrong direction, so likely this is not the original clasp. It's a striking piece.

 

I have a friend that would know if it’s a Juliana piece. Gonna ask her. I hadn’t thought of that but it does have the pin stops Maybe they replaced the clasp? Usually you can tell cause it never looks right especially with the gold plating
