Antique Carved Wood Man Carrying A Container With A Wrap On His Head

    I'm not sure what culture this little figure is,appears maybe at one time he had a walking cane in his hand,but not sure.There's a paper on the back but words are all faded out.Made out of older wood.appears to be hand carved.I got this out of a storage ot attic sale years ago.     I think so. Not a man though, a woman, and she is probably meant to be an elderly woman.
    Maybe from the Philippines?

    I would think the tump line..., strap... would be a woman carving..in this case.
