Hello! I'm new to this whole thing so bare with me. I have an old cash register that I'm looking to sell. I don't know how much I could get for it or if it's even able to sell. I was also wondering what good places I could sell it at/on. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time!

Images are attached below. Thank you!

    Welcome Andi.

Does that handwritten note say it was restored and painted?

it's not something expensive enuf to ship...so selling it in your area is the best bet...
Restored is good...painted...not so much !

Did the restoration leave it in working order?

I sold mine on eBay with local pick up only, the buyer travelled to collect.

The "restoration" is likely fairly detrimental to the current value. From what I've seen collectors want these fairly original and wear/patina from use is part of the allure. It is one thing to fix mechanical problem but the paint job and the floral décor erase that patina and utilitarian look of these fairly non-ornamented NCR registers that collectors value.

Am I allowed to put a link on here just in case anyone is interested in buying? I'm new to this whole thing and don't want to break any rules. Thank you!

We have a SELL Forum for that.......post it there please.
    BUT....
not knowing were you are.....I for one would not likely want it shipped to Montreal.... so you'll need to add some specifics..

Even though serious collectors might pass, it has a decorative value that might appeal to decorators or stores owners.

Good luck with it! You might want to include the information about serial number and date of manufacture.
