antique chairs - advice needed PLEASE HELP

Hello,

My father obtained some antique chairs made of solid wood. These, I think, were originally part of a larger collection. They are ridiculous heavy and come from Hungary.

I am wondering what I can do, or what I can buy, to protect the wood, and to protect the fabric on the cushioned seating?

Is there a specific type of oil for the wood, or spray for the fabric that you guys can recommend to protect these pieces?

Do like I do,dont let anyone sit on them ! There are sprays they sell to protect fabric,but Im not sure they would apply to a finer fabric.Yours look like satin?

 

Yes. I think so. Is there a particular spray you would recommend. I found a paste type stuff I ordered to protect the wood. I just need to know a recommended spray to protect the fabric.

 

what auction house in which country ? I don't see anything antique.
