Welcome Carlin. Nice cabinet, and a cheerful room. It looks like most of the decoration is molded and applied, maybe that is an indication of the age. @Ghopper1924 .:)

Most likely from the first decade or so of the 20th century. Appears to be walnut. Are some of the applied "carvings" gesso rather than wood? They seem rather light in color in comparison to the piece.

LOVE the chairs paired with it ! The contrast is eye catching. Brad is spot on in age (as usual) . :)

Unusual transitional piece ca. 1895-1905 going from Renaissance Revival to neo-Classical. I would have expected oak, though it's walnut, as very brad said. Can't discern an answer to the gesso vs. wood question; either are possible although the odds favor wood.

I'm not a fan of modern molded plastic chairs, but they work a brilliant contrast with this handsome display cabinet/vitrine. You've got a good eye, Carlin.
