This decanter belongs to my mom. She is hoping to get any sort of information about it: what type of liquid did it hold? do the images on the decanter have a name? does the bird stopper go with it? what year was it produced? what year was the bird stopper produced--if it is separate? who created it? The only writing on it is dec on the bottom.

If there are any other suggestions for where I can go to get information about it, please feel free to share!

    Thank you!

    Hi and welcome!
Perhaps a place to begin is identifying the material it's made from. Is it glass or ceramic and could you show the bottom?

Hi there and thank you for the replies! My mom says that it seems to be some sort of pottery/ceramic and that it has the word "sailboat" and the number "909" or "606" written on the bottom. She is working on getting a picture of it to me.
