Antique floor lamp no idea help

    I spoke to the owner of a mylamparts.com. His store carries an EXACT match to one of my shade holders. So i called him and he explained that my lamp is likely, without looking, 1940s-1950s, was probably bought for around $90 at that time. The reason it is so heavy is that its made of white metal, if you look it up its a common metal like he told me, that was used at the time to cast pieces that were appealing, replaceable, but over time became brittle if handled too often(which mine is ) i found the 10 inch stalactite flame shade REPLACEMENTS on Ebay for $51 dollars a piece. So basically this guy knew on the phone exactle what i have, thank goodness, and that replacement parts are worth more than a professional cost if appraisal. ( unless it was in the Taj Majal lol its just a hotel lamp maam) wow right?!
