It appears to be a good copy of a WWII wool fleece flight jacket, used by US Army Air Corps flight crew: Pilot, Co-Pilot, Navigator, Bombardier, an' Nose, Waist, Belly an' Tail gunners. At high altitude, in open, drafty airframes, those folks experienced cold in a way we down here on the ground rarely if ever do!

Hohegrabenweg 54, 4005 Meerbusch, W. Germany is the full address for Albert Leonhard, the retailer. "Owner's basement" explains why a residential address.

Doesn't it look as if they simply cut out the black Avirex label (with a piece of the original label still there?) and cut away the 'Avirex LTD' bit of the 'Made in USA' label (causing the fraying)?

    Welcome, Pieter.

I remember these jackets were all the rage when we went back to the Netherlands in 1974, so it could be 70s.

Certainly not antique, it would have to be at least 100 yrs old.;)

Official military clothing tags are different. It would say it this way:
