    Hi,
I just bought a semi-detached house in Swansea, UK, which was built in the 1940s. The sellers left a few antique-looking furniture pieces which I'm reluctant to sell I know things aren't made nowadays like they used to be, but I'm also looking to modernise the house, so would appreciate any advice on whether you would keep or sell some of these.
I have only found a maker's mark on one of the items, a Strongbow sideboard, which I found one identical piece on a Japanese site but it was worth the equivalent of something like £50 which is a bit less than I was expecting for these nice items.
I've never posted anything like this so will post all the items if anyone would like to see any closer pics.
    Thanks in advance

Until recently I cleared deceased homes in the UK.

The dressing table and wall unit I would demolish and take to the tip.
The rest I would offer to a local charity for them to remove for free.

    Edit.
If you call a House Clearance company they will charge you to remove it and probably ditch the lot.

Low appreciation of these is so sad. I particularly like the wardrobe because it is a practical & attractive solution to lack of closet space. The chest is nice too.
