Antique islamic brass dallah pot

    Looks like Arabic writing on the side. Is the handle on the side broken/missing?Can you please add photo with the lid on it?

    It is a beauty, @F&C . Is it missing a handle, or do you still have it?
    The style is from Syria or one of its neighbours. If there were metal inlay as well, it would be called Damascus ware.
    It looks 19th century to me.

    No the handle is broken off in the photo, as I found it, but I think its already been repaired once from the big blob of solder on the side. I'll try and get a better photo of it thanks
