Featured Antique landscape painting- Comments

Hi all,looking to hopefully identify the artist of this oil on canvas painting. I was thinking maybe L’Frure,Lerure or Ierure. But no success so far. Any comments or guesses will be appreciated. Size is 33cmx23cm. Thank you en keep well.

 

Think I found the artist: J.L Faure (20th century -South African)

Thanks.Sometimes good finds and sometimes not so much (but that’s just the way it is,right!) But I agree there’s some great art and items out there ‘hiding’ in charity and secondhand shops.

 

Are there two artists — John L Faure and Joan-Louise Faure — both painting the amazing scenery around Cape Town? At a quick glance there’s a third Faure doing the same. South Africa has produced some terrific artists, is what I meant
