Antique Leather Box,Maybe Catechism Box

    Storage find.A very nice leather snap box,inside is a small worn paper book,dated 1840.I'm not an expert,just trying to find out what is the box or what did it once hold.Remind me of an accordian the box pull up like an accordian.     Dimensions of the case please.

    I don't think the booklet has anything to do with the case.

    I think it’s a glove box. The loops may have held a glove stretcher.
