Several years ago I bought a Lot of antique Odd Fellow items - badges, belts buckles, collars, awards, hats, etc. and after a while started listing some of it. I was amazed at how quickly and $$$ it went for - a lot to a museum in the Mid-West.

The crossed shepherd's crooks are the symbol of a pastor or guardian. I do not recognize the decoration as Masonic, but there are so many affiliated organizations & so many rituals, I don't begin to know them all.

I wonder why the two halves aren't identical? One side has the star and the other side has the crossed crooks.
