Featured Antique mirror identification

    I have this mirror and I am unsure of the era it was created. I'm not sure how to date by looking at the hardware but I know that can be done. Can anyone guess when and where it was made?? Thank you!

    It's an antique, ovaL, free standing men's shaving mirror.

    Its too fancy for a shaving mirror.
    Its a vanity or dressing table mirror.
    Edwardian era I'd say.

    I would consider it a 'toilet' mirror based on the size.

    Do anyone know what sort of material might have been used for this glass? I.e. mercury or silver? Ty!

    Oh, and the mirror is beveled. Probably mercury; it's aging nicely!
