Picked these up at a local antiques fair. I think they're super cute!!

I had thought about cleaning/polishing them, but they're already very thin, and I don't want to risk damaging them...

They are beautiful, Shangas, great find.
You could use silver cleaning foam, which is perfect for pieces like this. I also use it on delicate silver filigree.

They were very expensive, but not as expensive as some which I've seen online (also, mine are larger!). The few I was able to track down on like, eBay and other places, were all WELL over $1,000 a pair.

I was worried about polishing because I'm already seeing a few light-holes poking through the silver in one of them...

Done! They're lovely, but I'm considering perhaps framing them, or something, to protect them. They are very fragile.

now they have some more depth....... nice !

I'm gonna see if I can find a suitable picture-frame or some-such thing, and pin / sew them in-place and frame them. They're so delicate I don't like not having them protected somehow.

Be careful about uncoated metal touching them as those can rust and mark up your piece. Professional display would use coated metal to hook the piece to the mat. If you think you could sew them or thread across the corners, that would work too.

Really lovely pieces. I would frame them immediately to enjoy them every day. :D

The hunt for a frame continues. I'm looking for a simple A4-sized frame. Then I can pin or sew them into place and perhaps put a little caption underneath or something. Gotta find the frame first, though...
