Here is a nice horse for children, but not only. Yes, really nice, beautiful eyes. Oh, my cousin is in love, but it's only mine! :angelic:

A part of the ear and the stomach is broken, but the rest it's ok. What do you think? Something about this horse?

    Measure about - 70x70

As always sorry for my bad english.

    Thanks!

It could be a nice candidate for professional restoration, would not sell well in present condition. Is the word written on it a maker's name, or maybe the horse's name, owner's name?

Hi! SO cool!!! It needs its wheels which may have been anything from solid wood to metal with solid rubber tires. Maybe a search on mebay for wheels would find something apropos.

I agree with you, definitely need a good hand.
Yes, is the same question that I ask myself, could be the name of the horse.
Yes, Milt thanks. Very nice on ebay!

    Don't touch that surface yourself.
I would leave it alone until I knew exactly what I had ...
...other than replacing the wheels with the proper style...preferably period.
It's not that bad to a collector that prefers original surface. The trend is to original surface across the boards in collecting IMHO. (In the U.S.)
A professional restoration, no matter how good, would be expensive and could well detract from the value in the long run.
The surface on this piece is honest. It's right.

It's a potentially very nice piece. Proceed with caution.

Just to hazard a WAG German 1880s? Maybe right through the Twenties. I see you're in Italy. That could well be the origin of your pony too. As a matter of fact, Italian was my first impression but here in the states Germany is more likely.

    Nice piece.

    Oh yes, latex gloves.

Only on request notify me for the restoration, it's not easy.
Sure, let the collectibles, price and of course original piece.

German products are actually really very similar, especially in the eyes of the horse, I'm looking for more information.

Thanks Skeezix, very nice and professional! :)
