    Nice research, Kiko!

Quarter-sawn oak fall front writing desk ca. 1900, neo-Renaissance style. Love the small storage areas and drawers on top.

Thank you. There are some other miscellaneous pieces, but I don't know what the OP is interested in.

Sorry. I like research, but I have no expertise in buying or selling. Maybe @verybrad can give you an idea.

In my part of the U.S. Midwest it might bring $300-$400 at auction on a good day. More in a few years after brown furniture recovers its value.

A bit ambitious for my Midwest neck of the woods. Maybe $300, at the very top.

Very nice, but not a writers desk unless it belonged to Emily Dickinson or something, more of a lady's or a bureau on stand otherwise.

Any chance of a peek of the inside?

Sometimes called a Lady's secretary here in the Midwest. Drop-front desk would work as well.

Yes, drop, fall, slant front desk all work here in the States, in England, it's known as a "bureau". All the same thing, just different names/nomenclature is all.:)

I think the general rule in the US is that if it has a writing surface, it is first and foremost a desk, no matter what happens below or on top or to the sides. And this is, of course, right. The use may be more restrictive elsewhere, but it is easily understood, and calling it something like bonheur du jour won't define it any better.
