Featured Antiques that never sell.

Oh dear! Those "1950s wedding gifts" were often Pyrex bowl sets and Corning Ware sets which have been my bread and butter for the last 10 years!

I sell a lot of milk glass, most is Fenton or Westmoreland. The big swung vases sell quickly. Most depression glass doesn't move, you have to know pattern, color, mfr and shape to keep from ending up with stuff that won't move. Pfaltzgraff is a tough sell for the most part. And I run quickly from collector plates!

Those are a whole different ballgame, although they may be cooling off a bit.

Collector plates. I only run to them if I have a skeet thrower in the other room.

 

I know someone who will gladly take any old linen you want to get rid of Pam.

She is a textile artist & is always on the lookout for more pieces & does not care if they are damaged or stained.

She lives here in South Carolina but she usually does a workshop in Columbus Ohio at some point during the year.

I actually gave away a very holey pair of 501s and a Ralph Lauren rose floral pure cotton sheet, also with holes. The person wanted to do art with them.
