    The oil that Cluttered posted is indeed Rubina Verde. Hobbs, Brockunier's No. 306 Oil to be exact. I see no reason to think the vase is not opalescent rubina verde. Spelling/capitalization optional. It is NOT by Hobbs Brockunier. While Hobbs may have originated the term (I don't know that) I don't believe it's unique to their wares.
