Any idea what these stones are? Also do you think this was drilled to be used as a netsuke or…?

    Netsuke necklaces were popular in the early 80s. Sometimes original old netsukes were used, but some 'netsukes' were beads made to look like a netsuke. This one looks like the latter.
    I agree with komo, it is stained, but could be bone rather than ivory.

    The stone beads are probably a type of jasper.
