Any idea what this sign could be worth? Supposedly 1890’s Japan

    Approximately 2.5x 2 feet. Thick
    cut wood. I’ll post more photo later but wanted to gets preliminary idea if anyone has one. Thanks

    Looks like a crate lid. And on what is 1890s date based?

    I don't see much age to the wood other than some water damage perhaps in the past? Crisp, like new, colorful design also. JMHO of course!

    Not Japanese, It is Chinese, simplified writing, MAO ERA. Says name of Company etc. $25.00 tops.
