Yes both my work and the work you found on Ebay were sold into the Japanese market.

Yes, I am aware of another artist that has two signatures. Kim Se-yong writes his horizontally for the Korean market and vertical when he knows his works are going to the Japanese market. However, the characters themselves in his case are similar enough that I was able to guess when I first found a work with the alternate signature. Since I am in touch with the artist's son who lives here in the USA I was able to confirm it.

You seem to be getting the ceramic bug. Caution. You may find yourself like me owning quite a few. I started out after all with just one and tried to learn everything about it and progressed to going to Korea to meet artists in person.

I think Lee Sang-Yeol lives close enough to Icheon that it is likely either Shin Sang-ho or Kim Seyong will know the answer to this question.
