It looks like a 20th century Italian made repro to me. If so, you may be able to find replacements for the handles.

Let's wait for the experts, they have been tagged.

1930s in a mish-mash historical revival style. Sometimes called depression era furniture here in the US. Not sure if American or European. Looks to be nice refinished condition. Not worthless but not terribly valuable either. Kind of out of fashion these days but someone should like it. Here in my semi-rural Midwest location, would be under $200.00 at retail with all the handles intact. You might do better in or near a large city. Quite a bit less at auction, other wholesale type venues, or in Ultra-Podunkville.

Sweet proportions. And a chest, not a cabinet.

Thanks. I do have all the handles through. Only 1 lower drawer have missing/broken piece of the handle.
There is also a lot of scratches all over the body. Probably from previous moving by owners...
    I'm located at Seattle
Also from the paper that says
"The Fiske" Mahogany Sheraton Inlaid Chest 16x22 inches Height 40 inches

Should do better in Seattle. Pacific Northwest prices seem to be significantly higher than the Midwest. Can't make much of your paper. Maybe from a catalog page. Is this something that came with the chest or somewhere else? I am finding nothing that matches it on-line.

A photograph of "the paper" would be helpful.

If the printed sheet above is truly associated with the piece, then American given the spelling of "center."
