Featured Any information on a table

    Brand new to the forum here and just was hoping to get some help.

    I’ve got an old (I believe) table here.

    It folds up and then you spin it so it sits on the base. Has some minor cracking on the top wood.

    There is a mark on the bottom that says “J. Chase”

    We are moving soon and I am just trying to figure out if this is something I should hold on to or let go.

    I think thats a game table . Circa 1880 or so. I assume theres a well ? Nice piece ,id keep it . :)

    Game table indeed. Has a bit of a home made (or small country workshop) quality to it so think J. Chase is your maker.

    Not much to add. I might place it a bit later, ca. 1900, but everyone's already mentioned the important details.

    I think we will hold on to it for a bit as we try and find out more about the maker.
