    You probably know that it has been recovered. Most likely had a tufted back.

    The wood frame looks mid to late 1800s.
    Hopefully others can give more details

    Yes it has a tag on bottom that I tried to share but not sure how to share more than one pic. Keeps saying my pics are to large.

    You will have to resize your photos to under 1MB.
    Not sure how to do that.
    @i need help will be able to tell you how if you can't figure it out. She may not be back until morning.

    The tag appears to be associated with a later reupholstery or some such. My feeling is that this is a 19th century transitional piece from Federal to Rococo Revival to Renaissance Revival ca. 1860-70 or so, as Cluttered intimated. The piece incorporates the s-curve of the Rococo but little else, so it has a vernacular feel and may be a bit later than the "style leaders" who originally promulgated the Rococo and Renaissance Revival in the 1850s.

    Armless settees were easier to build - and thus more economical - but were also manufactured as a style choice by top designers like Meeks and Belter. Nice burl!

    Agree with an 1860s-70s date but thinking more Federal/Empire influence in the styling.
