Anyone know their knives? Not necessarily military but figured it was best spot for my dirk.

Suggest posting on a knife collector forum. I’m not a knife person but to me it looks a bit home-made, especially the crude handle and guard.

 

I’ll do that. I did post to one knife place and got nothing but there was one suggested I’ll probably try. The guard leaves a lot to be desired here. Obviously the handle does too but I kind of like it’s simple, primitive quality.

 

I don't know a lot about blades, but have a few older ones. As others said, that handle just doesn't seem right no matter what the provenance of the blade.

 

Ding me should you ever post the ones you have........

Let me amend that. I USED to have. Gave them to kids. I'm starting to declutter. It will soon be time to downsize and move into a smaller place and I don't want to be rushing to do it.

Yeah, well "kids" is a relative term. They're in their 50s now, but they are still my kids.

 

Every good kid needs a good knife anyways. At least where I grew up.
