    I don't think so.
    The lower sails would come dine far but not so much as to obscure the ship's lines.

    Unsigned paintings have value. this is particularly true if they have good appeal and age. Yours has both. Won't be as valuable as those by a listed artists but worth putting out there.

    Thanks again for all the posts. I do enjoy the painting, so no plans to get rid of at present. I was more wanting to educate myself on what I had and if it should be insured in any special way.
