My Persian friends refuse to be called Iranians.

I think Persia and also Siam were much better names, they sound so exotic ;

 

Yes, they also speak Farsi.

 

My one friend was giving me a history lessson. Very complicated. They are also Chriistians. I was at a Christian Persian funeral of a good friend and it was a bit like the Catholic with the incense and the garb of the and wore something like a fancy miter spl? Anyway,after the funeral we aall walked to the grave site aand they had a cement bowl with rocks and incense and we aall took a bit of rocks and tossed them.

 

For years my barber was an Iranian couple.
She did the hair
He did the beard.
He was handsome
She was steaming hot.....( ala Eva Longoria...type..)

The talked to each other in Farsi.....a lot !

 

My one friend has "drop dead gorgeous" daughters. When they were little I gave them horse back riding lessons.The youngest continued,and her Dad has several horses.

I call him the "Russian Cowboy" since he immigrated to Russia many years ago during the turmoil in his home country.
I also call him "Velcro Butt" since he rode one of my hottest horses bareback and never fell off,LOL.
