I don't know the size, don't have it in front of me, but roughly 18" x 24", I'd guess.
Anyone recognize the signature or the work? That bottle has San Miguel written on it.
    Thanks for your time

Reminiscent of things I remember seeing in the 1970s.
    Even the signature looks familiar

    I like it.

Thanks so much cluttered, I like it too, it looks a bit like my cat in my avatar, lol. I haven't purchased this (yet), because it's not cheap, so just trying to figure out if it's worth it or not.

What does not cheap mean - 100, 200, more?
You do see the damaged places? Not bad, but pointing out the paint chips might get the price lowered.

I'm wondering, is that a drinking straw or a string of drool from the cat's mouth to the bottle?:joyful:

Margaret (Hill) Alcala LOVES cats. She gave me one of her cat paintings Christmas, 2013.
She would buy that one just to destroy it.
I don't totally dislike it, myself, but also not attracted to it.
I'm glad to know it might have a good home soon, though.

    Thank you all!!
Cluttered she wants $200. I did see a couple of paint chips and would try to negotiate but was just hoping to ID the artist first to know if I should even try.
Lauragarnet, I think it's drool, lol.
Aquitaine probably so, me thinks, Hahahaha :)

That kitty is definitely the antithesis of the Pity Kitty paintings. Very quirky. And angry.:hilarious:

Does the seller not know who the artist is?

I don't think it is an Asian signature.

    Looks like CHH

Hmmm interesting cluttered I had not thought of something like that! No the seller doesn't know, she said she bought this at an estate sale about 15 years ago and at some point a relative tried to ID the artist but never did.
    Lauragarnet.... love that.... Pity kitty!!:joyful:

No inkling at all on this. Kind of reminds me of a more refined Bill the Cat.

    I like it.
I'd offer $150 cash and point out the paint chips and see what happens.
Worse that can happen is she says no.

Maybe $140, I just took a closer look at the frame. Not in the best of shape. That would be 30% off what she is asking.
