Arts & Crafts Pottery Toothpick Holder

    image.jpg The clay color is consistent with pottery from the Ohio area. It is also similar to Frankoma's ada clay. It is shown next to an ada piece in the last photo. Any thoughts on the maker is appreciated. Thanks, Joe

    Hi,
    The rounded wedges on the bottom scream Brush McCoy to me. I am not familiar with the design.

    I think American Bisque used wedges but this is not my area at all. It looks a bit like Asian celadon to me but don't give that any weight.
