Asian Bowl Chinese? Japanese?

    I cannot figure where this bowl is from.

    Given the gold flower, I suspect it's hiding the original mark of the blank maker and what is painted above it is the decorator mark. Not Asian IMHO.

    I agree with the gold flower covering the maker.
    I doubt the Chinese would bother with that. Unless it is a new copy.
    How much wear is on the bottom ring? Can't tell from the pictures.

    Found out this is French Sampson.
