Asian? Bronze Statue

    Hi all,

    Looking for some help again if anyone can assist.

    This is a non-ferrous statue that has been cast hollow I think and then filed with some sort of composite material.

    It has a couple of strange cut-outs on the metal which I guess was part of the manufacturing process?

    Anyone have any ideas where it might have came from?

    It is Dhokra ware, from northeast India.
    Yes, cast brass, the figure was made using the lost wax technique.:)
