Featured Asian Lidded Pot - Unusual Mark

    Is anyone able to translate the unusual blue stamp on the base of this small lidded pot ?

    I initially assumed that the piece was Japanese, but looking closer, I'm not so sure.

    Ideas, anyone ?????

    It's very stylised, but looks like Chinese rather than Japanese, so another of the later 20th century Chinese items in the style of Japanese Satsuma ware, 1970's onwards.
