So, I bought this ring online for 3€ and I only saw blurry pictures, so when I got it home today I was pleased. The shank is silver and a bit crude, the top is 14 carat yellow gold with onyx and a small diamond in the middle. I can t seem to 'get' this ring though... When I just saw it I thought: nice little modernist ring! But then I noticed two marks on the back of the top. One has letters, (I think: V* h), the other looks like a '5' (maybe used to be 585?) and then the silver shank starts. Could it be possible the ringtop is older (maybe possibly late art deco) and they just soldered a silver shank on it as a repair? Its a small ring, but it fits me perfectly, so I m happily wearing it 'as is' now. But any opinions are welcome. Thank you!
