I&#039;ve done Google, Gotheborg, Blue Cherry, Oriental Antiques, plus traced the characters (to the best of my ability) from a photograph and put that into every appropriate online translator. Mixed results to say the least.</p><p>I know the right hand side is &quot;Great Japan&quot;, and the vase is probably from the Meiji period, but that&#039;s as far as I&#039;ve got.
