My older Shelley dainty tea cup sets are thinner/more finely made than my newer ones of the same pattern. And my older and newer Royal Crown Derby Antoinette pattern items have slight differences. My old Royal Albert Serena set includes quite a few different tea cup/saucer shapes (ie: some footed, some not, etc.), some very similar to each other.
