Batik with interesting image. Anyone recognize?

Hello everyone, got this one and it is a puzzler. Measures about 18.5" x 22.5". Many many finishing nails all around it. Back paper and under the paper the hard board it was glued to shows some age. We are thinking 60s or 70s?

And the image, almost like a mom and dad with the baby underneath? No signature that we could find. Have tried many image searches. We contacted an artist in Australia, but it was not his. Any ideas out there?

Is it a batik fabric glued to the paper?

I agree that is a lot of finishing nails!

Can't comment on the meaning of the scene, the whole thing is kind of naively done which may be the intent.

Yes, the fabric is glued to a thick cardboard (there are some wrinkles but they were hard to photograph) and I think it is batik. The inside of the glass has a white film over it, guessing the off-gassing of the glue causing the cloud on the glass.

 

Wonder if is the parents viewing an ultrasound?

 

I'd be thinking some kid's art class project. If an 8 year-old did that there's no knowing.
