    Hi,
I'm wondering about these pillow covers - Made of deer hide with fringe on the edges. Would these be souvenir covers? both are 10" not including the fringe. Is it possible to id the tribe from the designs?
    Any information appreciated
    thanks for looking

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

you're close to Wildrose country.......I'd suggest Alberta.......but i don't see anything that would make me jump up and say for certain, any one tribe.

Years ago I worked at a Native Friendship Centre in Alberta, we had a Large handicrafts area where folks sold their leather beadwork .. mocassins, jackets, wallets, purses etc, about 80 percent of the items sported the rose design .. I'd vote Alberta, possibly Cree .. Joy.
