BEAUTIFUL TOUCANS PAINTING BY McKAY - WHO IS THAT?

    I found this today at a local thrift store - it was $49 reguarly but 1.2 price today because it's price tag color was the color of the day!
    It's large (43" x 31" w/frame) and - I think - very well done, and it's signed McKay - does anyone know who this artist is?
    Thoughts on the painting (not factory, right)?

    Maybe Texas wildlife artist J.D. Mckay...can't find much info other than some pinterest links so far...

    Here’s another two JD McKay, similar subject but siggie different. Yours might be a much earlier work, I’m not sure as these two are sharper in painting style and brighter colours.
    You might try contacting the Gallery.

    Toucans by J.D. McKay. The signature is different.
