    Hi all. I'd like to know about this lamp (style, value, age, etc). It's marked "148" on both sides of the base and "Berger" and something I can't make out at the top. "Leviton" lighting. It also has a "Made in Germany Sticker. Thanks!

    Circa 1960. The German label would be for the glass. The Berger mark on the harp is for Berger Industries, NY. Consequently, I believe the lamp to be American in origin, using imported glass.

    I think it's a beautiful lamp and yes it is most likely 22k gold accents.
    Thanks for your input, Brad, much appreciated.

    I meant to add that I agree with 1960 for the circa.

    I am actually NOT a "sarcastic" person at all.
    No idea why anyone would ask that?
    Or question what I said about this lamp...?
    @dude ??

    @antidiem - guessing that dude read your <3 as meaning "under 3" for a 'score', instead of what you really meant: LOVE heart. (you aren't the first person to receive a PM from this guy) :(

    Misunderstandings can happen here from time to time. It’s how they are handled that sometimes can create more of a problem, than the misunderstanding itself.
