Featured Betel nut cutter

    Good evening
    I got thiscat a market this weekend. After some research I found it to be a betel nut cutter. It is made of iron an a bit rusty. Any idea of potential age and origin will be welcome.

    Thank you for the tag, yes it would, I have a few betel nut cutters in my Indonesian betel paraphernalia collection.:)

    Jannie, yours is from Burma/Myanmar. You don't see these very often, most are from India.
    Difficult to tell the age because of the reflections in the photos, but my guesstimate is first half of the 20th century
