Featured Betel Nut Slicer

    Picked up this neat looking piece today. While researching, I noticed there are a boatload of reproductions/fakes out there. I was able to find many with horses and riders, but nothing quiet like this, which I hope is a good thing. (might be newer, but not mass produced and sold on aliexpress at least).

    I thought the way they did the back legs for the horse was interesting. There seems to be a spike/hammer at the front also which is kinda different.

    From India, I think. Any guess as to age? Thanks for looking.

    Found this on a stock photo site. They often get these kind of pics from government museums (such as the met), but I couldn't track this down as being from anywhere else.
