Featured Bitossi? Fratelli Fanciullacci?

I found this in the local Goodwill for $2.99.....
Is it Bitossi, Fratelli Fanciullacci, something else? It's a cylinder shape, 7" tall , and 3.25" diameter. (17cm x 8cm)
I found 2 similar on the web, both calling them Bitossi.

Any and all opinions welcome!

 

Not Bitossi, the Italy mark is wrong.

I thought so, too. So some other factory, I guess.
It does have that recessed rough
bottom, which I like.
So it's a Mid Mod mystery!

maybe not...but here goes......

gawd that's an awful looking thing...
it looks like someone took 30 minutes to make it with no thought for the design...no balance or symmetry , slapdash painting, cuts too deep....ect, ect...

Komo thinks my vase is fugly! Waaaah!

Lots of Italian (and other) mid-mod pottery is rather funky and unattractive anyway, with gloppy glaze and lumpy surfaces.
But I'm a gambler, and I'd rather pick it up now, and not worry later that I missed a great thing!

 

And thus....why I refrain from pottery on the whole......
