Featured Black amethyst bowl and flower frog.

    Hello everyone. I've had this a while but in uncertain that the pieces belong together. The bowl is definitely amethyst, I can't tell if the frog is, it appears just black. It fits in the bowl but loosely. Looking again at the bowl I see the top is threaded.     is it possible the frog is correct and a glass dome would have screwed on , over it ??:confused::wacky::wacky::wacky:;)

    Definitely two different items.
    The base is for a screw top.

    Ah! Our posts crossed! Interesting to see the photo even shows the threading on the top! So, I could find the matching frog for the bowl. Wish me luck!
