Featured Blue Delft Style Butter Dish? Help Identifying Please.

    The length is 8.25" and the overall width is 3.25" with the well being 2" wide. A stick of butter does fit inside the well but a lid going over would likely hit the butter on one side if not both unless positioned perfectly. Is is possible this is some other type of dish?

    Also, is anyone able to identify this mark? It appears to me to be multiple stamps on top of each other, but I am not certain.

    Does seem a bit skimpy to be a butter dish. Relish/celery tray instead?

    I think it's probably a butter dish, but I'm puzzled at the two big vent holes on the bottom.
