    Oh thank you:). I'm doing well and have a very loving family. DH had a rare cancer and had wonderful doctors. Everything possible was done to help him so that's all anyone can ask.

    So sorry for your loss. It's never easy to deal with estate matters while you are grieving.

    As stated by others, you are going to need a lawyer versed in the proper tax code for your location. When I donate something to a museum, I am required to fill out a form in advance and always get a letter back thanking me. I'm surprised they accepted his donation without the proper form. Accessions need to be documented properly.
