Hi All,

Ad on Marketplace for a box of silver-plate, price was free, in the only photo I thought I could see a handle to a brush or mirror so I messaged the seller asking if I could come by for a look. She responded that the box was left on the porch (along with several other boxes), she had gone back to wherever she lives and the realtor was going to dispose of the boxes. She wasn't sure if the box would still be there as other people had asked about it, she gave me the address. I went by to see, and very glad I did. Big box full of plated stuff and pot and pans. I went through it and found these pieces, all marked sterling, the inkwell has the British hallmarks. Gathered up the goodies and went home, messaged her about finding silver, she was very surprised as she had a couple of dealers that handled the estate. I e-transferred her $100.00, she was happy, I am happy, a very good day I did look through the other boxes, nothing of interest for me.

I have to say that I probably wouldn't have looked twice at the ad except for Mr Nate inspiring me to look more closely at items, thanks Mr Nate
