Asked about this bracelet a couple years ago. Was told it might be worth something. Clasp is broken but fixable. Finally able to get a picture of the marks. It is marked sterling with some other badly done hallmarks. Looks like a star an H and an & then something else. Was going to put it in shop as is , but if it is worthwhile to fixi will. Any guidance? Thanks!

JMHO, if it's easy to fix it I would fix it. Customers are daunted by having to make repairs - this beauty will sell much faster if it is ready to wear :)

Thank You @Marie Forjan Ok.....if repaired, what would you think would be a fair price to put on it. I'm getting ready to put some costume jewelry in the B&M shop.

Are the stones glass or quartz? Where are you located?

I think it is quartz. Checked for bubbles and did not find any. Also passed the "cold test" . I'm in Florida

You need to have them checked with a gem tester to be sure because the value will be higher. If you don't have it tested you should assume glass to be on the safe side, glass would be cold as well and not all glass has air bubbles.

I am in Mass, on Cape Cod. If I had that bracelet at a show, in working order and polished up, with glass stones I would price it $35, if they are quartz (rock crystal) I would price it more like $60.
